The practice of utilizing ultrasound to view the structure and operation of the heart in real-time is known as echocardiography. In both human and veterinary medicine, ultrasound is a very effective, non-invasive, and secure diagnostic procedure. This method creates an ultrasonic beam that uses high-frequency sound waves that are emitted from a hand-held probe.
